Bio and Resume





Ann Lindbeck is an artist and bookbinder living in the New Haven, Connecticut area.  In 2007 she returned to Connecticut after living for nine years in Northern California.  She attended Vassar College and Wesleyan University, graduating in 1979.  In 1987 she received her MFA in Printmaking from the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston, Massachusetts.  Her prints have been exhibited throughout the country in group exhibitions.  Her work was chosen to be in the 2008 Artists-in-Residence Sites program of New Haven City Wide Open Studios.  As a bookbinder, she both creates and repairs books.  She has taught hand bookbinding for over 20 years in a number of different community art schools on both the East and West Coasts.  In addition, she has worked in museums and other exhibition spaces in various capacities including collections management and exhibition installation.  She is a member of the California Society of Printmakers and the Los Angeles Society of Printmakers.
